Description: Founded in 2016, the Eighth Wonder programme is a charitable scheme set up to address gender imbalance and inequality in the beautiful game. The Eighth Wonder programme offers 14-20 year old women a unique opportunity to break into the world of football, with a thoughtful and tailored programme provided for each participant, to kick-start their journey. The day is filled with workshops and break out sessions helping to empower and equip. Following this development day, each participant will be assigned a mentor and allocated a volunteering placement at a grassroots club in Kent.
